Ride of the Horsemen

                                     The Four Horsemen Ride

Almost everyone has heard of "The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse" from Movies Television or even Literature, but their description is often exaggerated and very misleading in it's real portrayal. The horsemen s ride can be found in the Bible book of  Revelation, and please remember that these horsemen are illustrative of the very real events mentioned below:

Revelation chapter 6 verses 1 to 7:-  6 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder: “Come!”  2 And I saw, and look! a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to complete his conquest.  3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say: “Come!”  4 Another came out, a fiery-colored horse, and it was granted to the one seated on it to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another, and he was given a great sword.
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say: “Come!” And I saw, and look! a black horse, and the one seated on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 I heard what sounded like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say: “A quart of wheat for a de·narʹi·us and three quarts of barley for a de·narʹi·us; and do not harm the olive oil and the wine.”  7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say: “Come!”  8 And I saw, and look! a pale horse, and the one seated on it had the name Death. And the Grave was closely following him. And authority was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long sword and with food shortage and with deadly plague and by the wild beasts of the earth

But what is the real story the real purpose of the ride of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse what does it all represent?

                                 The Four Horsemen Revealed

                                                                           WHITE HORSE

The rider pictures Jesus Christ. He began ruling in 1914 and will soon complete his conquest, ending all suffering.

Soon, during Armageddon, Jesus will remove Satan’s influence and will destroy the Devil’s human supporters.  (Revelation chapter 20 verses 1 to 3) Jesus will not only terminate the ride of the other three horsemen but even reverse the effects of their destructive ride. How so? Consider what the Bible promises.

                                                               FIERY-COLOURED HORSE

The rider represents warfare. World wars and smaller conflicts have taken countless lives since 1914.

Instead of war, peace will reign. Jehovah   “is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear.” - Psalm chapter 46 verse 9.   As for peace-loving people,  “they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”   Psalm chapter 37 verse 11.   So the rider of the fiery coloured horse will no longer exist!

                                                                         BLACK HORSE

The rider denotes famine. Food shortages have ended or ruined the lives of tens of millions.

Instead of famine, there will be plenty of food.   “There will be an abundance of grain on the earth; on the top of the mountains it will overflow.”—  Psalm chapter 72 verse 16.  The result will be no more hunger!

                                                                         PALE HORSE

The rider brings premature death due to disease and other factors. The Grave following behind gathers up the victims.   " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” - Revelation chapter 21 verse 4.   No more death so the grave will no longer exist!

The ride of these 4 horsemen has been galloping onward since 1914 when world war one started, at that time war also broke out in heaven and the Devil and his followers (wicked disobedient angels) were thrown out of heaven and confined to the vicinity of the Earth, this is why there is so much suffering in the Earth today because of Satan's influence:   Revelation Chapter 12 verse 7 to 12.

Soon Jesus will ride on his fathers behalf to complete his conquest and remove Satan and his Demons and all disobedient humans, so that peace can prevail on our earthly home!
When Jesus lived on earth, he provided a heart warming preview of future conditions under his rulership. He promoted peace, miraculously fed thousands, cured the sick, and even raised the dead to life again:    Revelation Chapter 12 verse 7 to 12.

And then as the apostle John implores at the end of the book of Revelation:   " He that bears witness of these things says, ‘Yes; I am coming quickly.’” - Revelation chapter 22 verse 20.

                                    “ Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.”
