Armageddon is Coming.

                                                           Why is Armageddon Necessary?

Do you find it hard to imagine that Jehovah, the God of love, would assign his Son, the Prince of Peace, to fight a war?    (See:  2 Corinthians 13:11; Isaiah 9:6)  Understanding their motives will doubtless make matters clear. The book of Psalms describes Jesus as a mounted warrior. Why does he fight? Christ rides, the psalmist explains, in the cause of truth and humility and righteousness. He wages war because he loves righteousness and hates wickedness.  (See Psalm 45:4,7.)

                                                                        We Need Justice.

Likewise, the Bible describes Jehovah's reaction to the injustice that he sees in the world today:

Isaiah chapter 59 verses 15 and 17:-    15 "The LORD has seen this, and he is displeased that there is no justice, - 17 He will wear justice like a coat of armour and saving power like a helmet. He will clothe himself with the strong desire to set things right and to punish and avenge the wrongs that people suffer". - (Today's English Version.)

please note that the word LORD in this scripture refers to the true God not Jesus Christ, whenever you see the word LORD written in capital letters in any Bible it always refers to Jehovah and not Jesus Christ, the name of God (Jehovah) was removed because of a superstition about saying God's sacred name  so it was replaced with LORD in capital letters, this action brought about confusion and dishonoured the true God Jehovah.

                                                                Wickedness is now normal.

As long as wicked people hold power, righteous people will not enjoy peace and security.   (See:  Proverbs 29:2; Ecclesiastes 8:9)   Realistically, we cannot divorce corruption and wickedness from the people who practice them. Thus, lasting peace and justice comes at a price, the removal of the wicked ones:   

Proverbs chapter 21 verse 18:-   "The wicked is a ransom for the righteous one", 

Wickedness is defined by God as a refusal to accept his rule by not showing a willingness to live by his righteous standards as exemplified in Jesus Christ, it will be to late to change when Jehovah acts, people must be willing to put their lives in harmony with God's standards now! before that day of judgement arrives.

                                                                       The time has come.

Since God is the Judge, we can be sure that in every case the judgements against the wicked will be righteous: 

Genesis chapter 18 verse 25:-    25 "Is the Judge of all the earth not going to do what is right?"   

The answer, Abraham learned, is that Jehovah is always right!    Furthermore, the Bible assures us that Jehovah finds no delight in destroying the wicked; he does so only as a necessary last resort.   (also see -   Ezekiel 18:32; 2 Peter 3:9.)

                                  Taking Armageddon Seriously.

Whose side will we be on in this decisive conflict? Most of us automatically assume that we are aligned with the forces of good. But how can we be sure?   "Seek righteousness, seek meekness",   urges the prophet Zephaniah.   (Zephaniah 2:3).   

1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 4:-  "The will of God is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth",   

So an accurate knowledge of God's word the Bible is needed and the willingness to live by Jehovah's righteous standards and follow Jesus Christs example in all things! Those people who do not do this will be completely destroyed at Armageddon and will become as if they never existed.

                                                                          Truth not lies.

Learning the truth about Jehovah and his purpose to rid the earth of wickedness is a first step toward salvation. Practising righteousness is a second step, bringing us God's favour and protection. If we take these important steps, we can actually look forward to Armageddon, a war that really will bring an end to human warfare. When this one sided battle is over , the righteous people who survive everywhere will view war as incomprehensible and repulsive. Never again will they learn war:

Isaiah chapter 2 verse 4:-    4 He will render judgment among the nations And set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into ploughshares And their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore.

The survivors of that great day (Armageddon) will live on an earth cleansed of wickedness, and the world will become the paradise it was always intended to be. Even death will be done away with, and people will experience true happiness under Jehovah's righteous rule forever!

Zephaniah chapter 2 verses 2 and 3:-  2  Before the decree takes effect, Before the day passes by like chaff, Before the burning anger of Jehovah comes upon you,
Before the day of Jehovah’s anger comes upon you, 3  Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, Who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you will be concealed on the day of Jehovah’s anger.

Anyone with an honest heart will agree that the world we live in is unjust, uncaring, full of badness and immorality, and ruled by people who are only after their own interests. Ignore the signs of the times we live in if you wish, or you can think on these articles and learn the truth while there is still time?
